Meet the Artist Behind the Brush
Hey there :)
I’m Amy, an illustrator with a passion for capturing meaningful spaces. From childhood doodles to painting landmarks I love, art has always been a part of me.
I’ve always been drawn to the stories behind places—why someone fell in love with a city, their favorite café from a first date, or the home they saved up for. That’s why I illustrate architecture mainly: because every place holds a memory.
Now, I work with individuals and businesses to turn those moments into art, whether it’s a custom home painting, a restaurant’s branded artwork, or illustrated merchandise.
Let’s make something beautiful together.

This is the painting that started it all ✨
Before I became an illustrator, I was actually a full-time baker working at a charming little spot called Bakkerswinkel Utrecht—if you ever visit, you might still find my coffee cake in the bakery!
One Christmas, I pulled the owner’s name in our Secret Santa exchange and decided to paint the bakery as his gift. To my surprise, he absolutely loved it! He was so enthusiastic that he ordered 900 stickers of the illustration to sell in the shop and hung the original painting on the wall. Soon after, customers started noticing the artwork, finding me on Instagram and sending commission requests to my inbox. I was baking by day and painting by night.
Around the same time, the owner encouraged me to apply for an exhibition celebrating the reopening of the most iconic building in our city, the Dom Tower. I took a chance, applied, and to my shock—I was enthusiastically accepted. That moment gave me the courage to fully leap into illustration. It was scary, but I’ve never looked back. I’m endlessly grateful for the support that helped me step into this creative path, and I truly wake up every day thankful to be doing what I love.
